Holiday Serenity

With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I have to admit, I got a little overwhelmed.  Between several Christmas celebrations, working, and the inevitable holiday shopping, I had NO time left to even have extra happy thoughts of sugarplums dancing in my head.  The day after Christmas, however, we took a trip up to Oscoda and stayed on Van Etten Lake.  It’s such a beautiful, peaceful area that for the first time in quite a while I took my camera out and went shooting.  For myself.  For fun.  For my own photography art.  And I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it.

So now, I am done moving, Christmas shopping is complete, parties are done, and it’s time to R-E-L-A-X.  I hope you all had a fantastic holiday and wish you all the best for 2012.  May you have peace, joy, and happiness in spades.  🙂
